Forever Mime

Two Mimes fight over the romantic affection of the girl who runs the house of horror. They get caught up in their act so much it comes to an epic battle.

Il Luster approached me if I could direct and produce their 8 minute movie “The Girl Is Mime”. A hazardous attempt to bring Mime to 3D animation. We spent a good first month filming and studying mime artists, then started asset production which took about 3 months. Animation took about 3 months and just when we were ready for release I managed to squeeze in a look update by replacing the old Mental Ray render engine with the new VRay render engine.
